I recently caught up with Will Bryant, to talk art, process, music, and nintendo games. Check it out.

Earlier this week I got to take a peek at how things were going with the Re:Form School show at the St. Patrick’s Cathedral School on Mott Street, and was just in awe of everything going on. To put the show in to perspective, it wasn’t enough to gather over 150 artists to exhibit, but they also converted the entire school from top to bottom for the show. Four floors plus the outside playground area are all newly renovated gallery and workshop spaces, with no detail spared… newly painted walls, custom painted chalkboards, a huge mural outside, and more art than you can shake a yard stick at. As I’m slowly settling back into things here in NY, I wanted to put up a few images from the installation process and also the final turnout out of the space for the SOMETHINGMISTAKENFORNOTHING exhibition at the Curiosity Shoppe. More …

We recently stopped by the Part & Parcel studio to see what Damien Correll and Garrett Morin were up too.
Last year I had the chance to check out Yee Haw Industries studio space/ store front in Knoxville TN. They were generous enough to give me the grand tour on my way through town. Take a look More …

We recently caught up with artist, designer, film maker Todd St. John (owner of Hunter Gather) at his studio in Brooklyn. He was kind enough to show us around his space and let us take a few pics of some of the projects he’s worked on over the years.

Simon Cole is quite an impressive guy. After quitting his job to focus on his passion for art, he’s since found himself as one of the younger up & coming gallery owners in the contemporary art world. Within his first year of running Show & Tell Gallery, he was booking shows with artists like: Steve Powers, Greg Lamarche, Brian Donnelly, and Greg Gossell. Since then, S&T has continued to grow, and from the looks of it, shows no signs of slowing down.

Here’s a few pics from our FRIENDS + FAMILY opening. I’d like to give a big thanks to all the artists for making this such a great show! And extra special thanks to Ben and Angela from the Gowanus Studio Space, and Josh Roxas for all their help in setting up this show – you guys are the bee’s knees. More …
Greg Lamarche, also known as SP.ONE, is a man of re-invention. Coming up in Queens, NY, Lamarche has been a respected graffiti writer since the early 80′s. His self produced magazine SKILLS was testament to his love of graffiti and street culture. Now, long after his beginnings as a writer, Greg has switched gears. His work has evolved, showcasing his love for letterforms in a completely different medium. Lamarche’s collage pieces are beautiful compositions of typography and color, often making use of found materials, yet still heavily influenced by his roots in the graffiti. More …
