Before you start your bright day, every human needs something that can kick start our spirit. There’s nothing better than having a good old breakfast. But sometimes, we don’t have the time to spend for doing this miraculous activity. We tend to ignore the importance of breakfast in the morning. Today, I want to share with you how important it’s to have a breakfast, so we all can live the rest of the day feeling excited and spirited.
The Importance of Breakfast In The Morning
1. Energy Booster
A lot of people ignoring the need to eat in the morning. They tend to think it will be alright for the rest of the day if they don’t eat in the morning. But turns out, you will feel easily exhausted and lack of energy. A good healthy breakfast is very important to give you the energy boost to work out the day. Eating food containing carbs can give you the boost you need and you can feel spirited throughout the day.
2. Crank Up Your Mood
Once in our lifetime, I believe you or maybe your friends have had a day with such bad mood. Someone can feel so underwhelmed and un-spirited for the rest of the day. Do you know what is the cause of such bad mood? It’s because someone misses their breakfast. A breakfast is important to crank up your mood. For example, you just got wake up from your bed and you start to smell something good and eat it right away, wouldn’t that make you cheer? I believe everyone would though.
3. Focusing Your Mind
You’re at school or at work in the morning, but you haven’t had your breakfast yet, what will happen? You will lose focus immediately. How could this happen? This probably happens because you are underestimating the importance of breakfast. This problem will happen because if you haven’t eaten in the morning, in your activities you will feel hungry. And when you feel hungry, your brain can’t focus thoroughly because your brain doesn’t get any nutritious for the fuel which is gotten from foods.
4. Prevents Starvation
Not having breakfast in the morning would make a domino effect on your body. Not eating can lead to empty stomach, the empty stomach will lead to starvation, and starvation will lead to your body can’t do metabolism correctly.
What Should You Eat In The Morning
For what I suggest you have on breakfast is pretty much will be varied depending on the culture you’re living in. For me, as I’m an Asian specifically Indonesian, I love to have rice in the morning. To me, rice is very important because it’s the easy source of energy to have. We Asian people love to have rice for something to eat whether it’s for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Why rice? Because it’s the common commodity in our region and it’s full of good benefits to eat rice.
But if you’re living on the other side of the planet that rice is not something common, then you can choose bread for the breakfast. Or maybe you can choose whatever you want to depend on what is available at the time, as long as it is having a healthy impact on your body.
So, those are 4 of the importance of breakfast that you shouldn’t underestimate. Eating in the morning is very important because it’s the determiner how you would start the day.
